G.W. HIGH SCHOOL

We're getting better and more efficient at putting on these meets as 60 people turned out for the Records and Relays meet on Saturday.

The highlight of the meet was the PIZZA PARTY afterward as several of the GW swimmers showed up to celebrate the holidays with us.  I must say that I don't know of a team in the area that does as many "family" events as the Swim Dogs.

Overall, we had 163 "Splashes" with 44 PRs and 101 NEW SWIMS!  Only 18 swims added time.  That is truly remarkable.  We also had less than 10 DQs, which is great.  We need some work on our two-handed touches and relay starts.

We raised over $500 for the GW Patriot Swim Team!  Thanks to the girls (and Kyle) for helping out.
