The Swim Dog's Family at Evergreen Meet

Our "family" concept was on full display on Sunday at the Evergreen Season Finale' swim meet as five parents showed up to swim along with their children.

Coach Dana took lots of awesome pictures that really represent Swim Dogs.

The Evergreen meet is a good one for us as all age-groups, including adults, swim in one session...and in one day, so families don't have to split up.

The highlight of the meet for me was James' 100 Breaststroke where he took home the "Breaststroke Family" honor in the Gaul family with a time of 1:26.  AWESOME!  And it was really fun watching his girls cheer for him.  It's what we're all about.

Our team keeps growing and our meet participation continues to increase.  Several Evergreen swimmers asked why I didn't swim in the meet this year (I have the past two years), and I told them that it was due to our growth.  It's hard to swim and coach at the same time...I end up doing both of them poorly.
