:: Evergreen Season Finale (3/16/08)

Our third meet was a rousing success as the Swim Dogs took home 47 ribbons out of a possible 53!

We had eighteen Swim Dogs participate which was our biggest turnout yet.  We even had three adult Swim Dogs step up.  Our team included:

Caroline, Eva Claire, Jon Sarche, Alec, Danny , John Stevens, Sydney, Cooper , Chloe, Sonja, Jackson, Brandon, Kelly, Eden, Julia, Trevor, Kara, and Coach Mark!

We had several awesome swims and many of our Swim Dogs made major improvement.

Brandon Hougard really showed his stuff by deck entering the 400IM, and he did a great job.

Eden Turnbow took several seconds off of her best times in the 25 Free and 50 free, and she did the 25 breast to win a ribbon!

Danny Sarche also took off some major time in the free and back!

The Swim Dogs really made an impression on the other teams at the meet and our concept of having parents swim with their kids was a hit.  It was great to have the Stevens and the Sarches all swim!

We also had some new Swim Dogs compete with us for the first time, and that was cool.

Finally, thanks again to all the parents who showed up to help secure seats and keep track of their respective Swim Dogs.
