TOP DOGS Mary Gaul and Glenn Malloy Celebrate New Records |
The Swim Dogs are gaining momentum in the Master's swimming world with some excellent swims this weekend at the Denver Athletic Club. Ten TOP DOGS records were set by four Dogs: Mary Gaul: Women's 100 Free Glenn Malloy: Men's' 200 Breast and 200 Fly Dana Johnston: Women's 100 IM, 50 Free, and 50 Back Mark Johnston: Men's 100 Free, 400 Free, 100 Back and 100 Breast
The Swim Dog of the meet had to be Glenn Malloy who was the first Swim Dog to ever swim the 200 Fly...He may also be the last! Mary Gaul also did great with her TOP DOG performance in the 100 Free as well as swimming five events in one day! That's quite an effort.
Jon Sarche was pleased with his 50M free! |
Coach Mark congratulates Dana on her three TOP DOGS! |

Coach Mark relaxes with fellow swimmer Jeff McGuirk. |
The Denver Athletic Club puts on a great meet, and it is the only short course meter meet of the year. The meet is held over two days, so the events come up really quickly each day. It's one of the only meets I know that serves beer! Thanks to all of the Swim Dogs who showed up to support the team! Click here for RESULTS. |
