Swim Dogs

:: Colorado Waterpolo Night

Thanks to the Team from Colorado Waterpolo!

Greir, Matt, Bailey, and Heather from Colorado Waterpolo

We had another special night after a week of great practicing when the team from Colorado Waterpolo showed up to expose the Swim Dogs to another sport.

While several of us were a bit apprehensive, I think most everyone had fun!

In the early group, we had about 35 Swim Dogs, and in the late group 20 participated.  It looked like most of the Early Group had never played before, but the late group was ready to throw down.  I am pretty sure that Chris and Terry Eyser would have been ejected in a real match.

Goofing Teens

For those of you reading this, I cannot tell you how unique the Swim Dog's experience is.  Not only do we swim together as a family, but we do fun things like Waterpolo night and team dinners.

Tonight, for example, we had several "past" Swim Dogs join us.  When they want to have fun, they come back to Swim Dogs.

We've also had Olympic Champions, Para-Swimmers, Synchro Swimmers, and National Championship divers visit our team.  Together as a team, we visited and donated money to the Freedom Service Dogs.

I don't know any other like Swim Dogs!

But I also think that we're swimming fast...we're not just about having fun.  I think there's room for both and they are not mutually exclusive.

Our goal is to have a fun team that practices and competes together...and swimmers that come back year after year without getting burned out.

I hope your family is enjoying the Swim Dog's experience.
