2nd Annual Colorado Swimming Hall of Fame Pentathlon and Ironman Swim (and After-Party) Sponsored by Stan Benson, Ameriprise Financial Advisors, Boulder Aquatic Masters and Swim Dogs USMS Recognition 32-12-04-R (Pentathlon Events Only!) A portion of the proceeds of The Pentathlon will go to the establishment of the Colorado Swimming Hall of Fame (additional contributions are tax deductible). Stan Benson, Ameriprise Financial Advisors, will host an after-party where we will honor the Colorado Swimming Hall of Fame's inaugural class: Rich Abrahams and George DiCarlo. The first 40 people to sign up will receive a "swag bag" of assorted goodies from our sponsors and supporters. | Facility: | George Washington High School, 655 South Monaco Parkway, Denver, CO. GWHS is a 6-Lane, 25-Yard competition pool. Colorado Timing Systems touch-pads and scoreboard will be used. Depending upon the number of entries, the 2.4-mile swim may be run two people per lane at the Meet Director's discretion. Entries may also be limited. | | Dates/Times: | Saturday, January 21, 2012 8:00 Warm-up, 9:00 Start. The meet will run in five lanes with a continuous warm-up lane available. | | Age Groups: | 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44,......100+ No awards at this meet. Age groups are based upon your age on 01/21/2012 | | Eligibility: | In an effort to INCLUDE participation and interaction with the Triathlon Community, USMS membership is not required. Recognition sanction allows times to be considered for USMS Top 10. | | Entries: | Entries were due by Wednesday, January 18th by 8:00pm. Those entering the Pentathlon may also enter the Ironman swim at no additional charge. If separate, the 2.4-mile Ironman swim is $10. Make checks payable to "Swim Dogs", and send to the address above.
